Question about AX4200 CBK752 can base by directly connected to satellite.
I was considering getting the AX4200 CBK752. I had a question about if I could link the two devices (base and satellite) together via cat5 so that I would have a more reliable connection between the devices. I want the base to cover upstairs and the satellite to cover downstairs but I doubt seriosuly it will reach reliably without a physical connection. I currently have google wifi and they can do this but I really want to cut down on the amount of hardware I have. (modem, google puck, switch) This seems like an all in-one solution and would cut down the amount of power connections and desk space.

yes, you can use a wired backhaul with them.
What is Ethernet backhaul and how do I set it up on my Orbi WiFi System? | Answer | NETGEAR Support

Be sure to visit and post about any CBR7 series models in the Orbi with built in cable modem forum:
