Question about merits of Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000) vs. Netgear Nighthawk AC2400 (R7350)

I just recently purchased the R7000 for about $140. However, there's a great deal at staples for the R7350 for about $70. Would anyone care to weigh in on whether a potential switch is worth it? There's a ton of reviews for the R7000 as but not as many for the R7350. Really any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Well, the R7000 is a well established, reliable, model with excellent performance (and without the confusion of multiple hardware versions).   The R7350 may be just as good but, as you have found, there's less long term experience with the faster router.

The two may be identical in their hardware, hard to tell from the manuals, but I see no sign that the R7350 contains some of the bells and whistles that are written into the firmware on the R7000 or the R7000P.

To pick just two examples, Circle and Armor are missing from the manual for the R7350. So there's a good chance that the cheaper one has less memory and might be slower.

The R7350 also has a single USB port.
