Question - connect to WAN over 5ghz WIFI and running a VPN?

Hi all, wondering if it possible to use a r7000p to connect to another WIFI point over 5ghz(using it as a WAN connection) wifi, while running a VPN client(connecting to a remote VPN) and then sharing the connection over the local network of the 2.4ghz wifi and the plan ports.
