R6020 and EX3110 pairing

I am in of desperate help, I have a net gear Nighthawk R6020 Router and I am trying to pair it with a EX3110 net gear extender and it isn’t working.
Please help before I loose my mind!

What error are you getting? 

what method of setup are you using? WPS? The installation assistant? 

Try both if ones not working.
