R6120 (AC1200) Signal Strength issues after update to 1.0.076 from 1.0.072
Just wanted to mention this for anyone with a R6120...
Yesterday I updated to the latest Firmware on my router with 1.0.076.
It was successful, but then almost immediately I had issues with connections with my streaming devices in other rooms, and the signal strength at my Laptop was intermittently dropping to 4 bars from 5 bars.
The laptop is only 3-4 feet away from the router.
This morning I rolled back the Firmware manually to 1.0.072, and the problems went away.
I'm curious if anyone else has had signal strength issues since updating to 1.0.076?
I turned off auto update until I hear more from other users of this router.

One thing to try is after the firmware update, if there's issues, factory reset the router and do a clean install. by clean install I mean don't use a backup configuration.
You can always give that a shot and see if it works. If not, stick with the version you're on.

Yeah. Think I'll stick with 1.0.072 for a while.
This post is liable to die a "no-activity" death with no other responses.
I would like an answer to why the signal strength becomes worse after an update, but I don't have time to really expirement on my own with that. Too much of a hassle if it works... not fixing it. 😄
