R6120 Readyshare issues
I am operating this router with the latest firmware updates installed. I recently added a 2Tb drive to the USB port and couldn't see the drive on the router. I had an older drive which it could see but couldn't access it from some of my computers. The Win10 error message says that it cannot access the drive because the router is using SMBv1 which is not used by Win10 any more because of security issues. Is there a way to update the router to use the SMBv2 or later drivers for this unit? Are any others using the later versions to access the drives? I don't appreciate the lack of support from Netgear. Some things need to be supported without subscription service.

Re: R6120 Readyshare issues
You may need to format the new drive and then try to connect it to the router.
