R6350 repeatedly drops LAN ports

R6350 repeatedly drops LAN ports

My new AC1750/R6350 connected to new modem repeatedly drops LAN connectivity, requiring a factory reset to restore. Restoration last between several minutes up to 8 hrs. Only 2 LAN ports in use, one to WinXP and the other to Directv.

Not sure if I have to open the ports, lease time proble,or if it is a hardware issue.

Verified cables are good.

Wifi is fine.

Firmware ver V1.1.0.52_1.01. DHCP lease set at 8 hrs.

There are no LAN LED status lights on this model router.

Re: R6350 repeatedly drops LAN ports

Your post is missing a great deal of helpful information.

When did you update the router to

How did you perform the upgrade?

Did the router work previously (stable) with a different FW version?

Who is the ISP?

What service and speed do you subscribe to?

Service is Cable, uVerse, DSL, requires PPoE...etc???

What device is in front of the R6350?

Is it a modem, router, combo device... How is this device configured?

Is the connection directly from it stable 100% of the time?

Resetting the router to defaults is pretty drastic and should not be required to get the LAN working again.  Does this mean, the connected devices can't "see" each other, or they don't have internet connectivity?  I want to be sure we understand the problem so we can help solve the correct issue.

You have too many unknowns, and have not confirmed or performed any troubleshooting we are aware of.  If you have please share the results with us.  "What you did, and what happened when you did it".  The steps you performed, observations, etc.  The more information you share, the easier it will be for us to assist

Re: R6350 repeatedly drops LAN ports

R 6350 router is brand new purchased and installed 6-26-19. LAN unstable from initial installation.

Seperate modem is provided by Charter / Spectrum and is Aris TM 1602A.

Firmware confirmed as latest via interface.

Ethernet cables are brand new.

Devices connected are pavillion PC running winXP adapter 1394.

Directv receiver.

DCHP lease time switches from 24 hrs to 8 hrs.

Have powercycled several times. Standard reset several times. 30-30-30 reset.

Roku cannot connect wiired, only wireless. Directv will only connect wireless.

Problem seems random.
