R6400v2 Wifi will connect but internet does not come through
AC 6400v2 AC1750. Firmware: v1.0.4.102_10.0.75
I seem to be having a technical issue. My direct connection to my hookup works but when I try to route the internet through my router either by wifi or just as a line splitter the internet doesn't work. To be clear I can connect to my Wifi, and when I enter the nighthawk app and run an "internet speed" check I shows that I'm 150Mbps+ on both upload and download. I spoke with the free call line for netgear and they suggested I pay for a Technical call but for me that is cost prohibitive. Any Ideas for a solution?

Your direct connection to your hookup?
What is that?
What modem/gateway are you connecting to?

Re: R6400v2 Wifi will connect but internet does not come through
I live in an aprtment complex where the internet is provided, so all I have to do is plug my ethernet cord into the wall and then into my router. This also means that I don't have a personal modem.
And I am not completely sure what you mean by gateway, but if you mean router then it is a R6400v2.

If that apartment has its own routing functions built in, it could be causing a double nat issue.

does it function properly in AP (access point) mode?
