R6400v2 unable to connect to PPTP VPN
I'm a bit stuck getting my work PPTP VPN to work with my router. I believe the router is causing the issue because I am able to connect successfully using other networks outside of my home. I can't get it to connect to VPN on my home network, though.
I have tried adding my laptop to the DMZ, adding port 1723 to the list of port forwarding, enabling the VPN-PPTP service, and updating the router's firmware. This is not an issue with the Windows Firewall because I have attempted to connect to my company's VPN with Windows Firewall turned completely off, and still get the same results.
I am currently trying to connect using a Surface Pro, and the error that I get when trying to connect to VPN is error 806. I have been able to connect successfully back in November, but I'm not sure what's changed since then. Any help on this is appreciated.
