R6700 Network Key Does Not Work
i just purchased a new nighhawk router. i am following the setup instructions but it keeps telling me my password is incorrect when i type it in. this is the default network name and password and i am being very careful - 100% sure i am typing it correctly. HELP!

Where do you see this error? What are you trying to login into and what with?
There are various passwords involved with routers. For example, there is the one that you use to get into the graphical user interface (GUI) with a browser.
Then there is the password you use to connect to its wifi.
There may be others, so take is through what you are doing and where it goes wrong.
There are several hardware versions of the R6700. Look at the label on the thing to see if there is a V number. If not it is V1.

you can feed in the model number and find all the documentation for your hardware.
