R6700 setup import from R6040 settings file?

My R6040 router died of power surges. I had backed up the setttings to a file. Can I import this file into the R6700 to set it up? If so, what is the procedure?

You could try, but I'd expect it to fail. Different hardware,
different firmware, no effort by developers to support portability.

NO.

don't use the backup. They use different hardware.
