I have R6700V2 as my main router for two years. It worked fine until a few days ago.
It suddently stopped working a couple of days ago. I did some triages and isolations and confirmed it is R6700 router failed to connect to internet. Router powers up okay. Tried all the regular steps such as power cycle modems and routers, factory reset etc and none brought back the router. Put a new router in the R6700V2's space, did recover the network.
I had 6 netgear devices ( switches, routers) at home and am very disappointed that a 2 year old router would fail. Lots of my other network devices last much longer, incuding my previous ASUS router.
Any suggestions on other steps I missed to try to bring back the router?
Thank you for your advices in advance!

Re: R6700V2 failed to connect to internet
Did you try re-installing or downgrading the firmware?
A factory reset only removes the settings. If something was corrupted in the firmware, a reinstall of the firmware can sometimes fix this.
Or try downgrading the firmware. maybe it updated to a newer version and has issues on it.
