R6700v2 firmware file update issue
I am having an issue trying to update the firmware on my nighthawk R6700v2. The file available for download from Netgear Support is a *.img file.
My pc identifies it as an ISO disk image file.
I have tried it in win 10 and 11. When trying to mount the image I get a "file is corrupt" message. The router is looking for a *.chk file

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE .IMG file. The has to be sent thru the routers web page if after you log into the routers web page using a wired PC and web browser? MS EDGE should work:
