I have a Nighthawk AC1750 R6700v3 that is consistently losing internet access via WiFi at least twice a day. I don't remember exactly when it started but its been at least the past 9 months. I am running the current firmware v1.0.4.120_10.0.91. I did a factory reset and manually configured everything again but the issue is still occurring. I have seen posts on community where disabling armor fixed the issue so I tried that - no success there. I have also seen posts where reverting to an old version of the firmare is recommended which I am willing to try but I am not sure what version I should go back to. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.
I am using spectrum internet via EU2251 modem. Whenever I lose the wifi internet, I am still able to do a speed check via the nighthawk app so the hard wire connectivity exists.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 or 149 to 161 channel on 5Ghz. Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
No neighbors within wifi range but my 2.4Ghz was set to Auto. 5Ghz is set to channel 153. Also the 2.4 and 5G have separate SSIS's, I am not sure if that is recommended. I read in some places that they should be the same. I will update channels and see if that fixes things
