R6700v3 Readyshare asking for Password when no password is required
I have a hard drive plugged in the USB port. For the share, read and write are BOTH set to "All - No Password". Computers connecting by WiFi are able to connect without password. But the device always prompts my desktop connected by LAN for password the first time I access it. Why is this computer treated differently? Why does it ask for a password to access the USB folder when no password is required?
All computers are running Windows 10.
Thanks for any help / suggestions you can give.

Re: R6700v3 Readyshare asking for Password when no password is required
Certain Window build prohibited using the non-authenticated guest access. Similar policies can be still in place these days: FMI: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/networking/guest-access-in-smb2-is-dis...
In my opinion, allowing non-authenticated access is not the world best idea, but still possible today.
