R6900 Router Slow Performance in Router Mode

I have a R6900 Router which yields slow wifi performance in Router mode. I have the AT&T ARRIS BGW210 gateway and configured IP Passthrough, selected the R6900 router as target. In the normal setup with the R6900 in router mode, the wireless performance is pretty slow - I am getting max 65Mbps download speeds right next to the router. Upload speed is very slow with about 5-10 Mbps max. However, when I set the mode to access point I am constantly getting the full speed (currently have 100Mbps plan). Not sure what is causing this overhead, if possible I'd like to use the R6900 in router mode to take advantage of QoS, metering, etc.

It could be the QOS have you tried to run in router mode but disable the QOS?

Re: R6900 Router Slow Performance in Router Mode
Thanks for your suggestion, I turned the QoS off and that improved the performance considerably. I didn't expect the QoS to have such a huge impact on performance and had planned to configure QoS, but now will disable it.
