R6900 drops internet connection for connected devices after short time on 2.5 wifi only, not 5.0

Devices connected to my R6900 via 2.5 wifi loose internet connectivity after a short time. The device still registers on the router and shows connectivity to the LAN. But it has no Internet connectivity. Switching the device to the 5.0 wifi connection allows Internet access which continues uninterrupted. Rebooting the router restores connections and Interenet access at 2.5 wifi. My firmware version is: V1.031316_1.15. This problem has started after the router has been in service satisfactorly for a number of months. How can I correct this problem?

Hi Richard513,
Try changing the channel of the 2.4Ghz network. Also double check if the firmware is same with the latest one.

Reset the router if the firmware is updated.
