R6900 router is ping'able for 7 seconds then recycles

Woke up the morning to find my R6900's lights flashing amber. If I plug my laptop directly into one of the ethernet ports I can ping the router (192.168.1.1) for about 7 seconds, then all the lights on the router flash amber for a few seconds, then I can ping for another 7 seconds...

I can not address the router at all from the LAN port. The browser also does not connect to 192.168.1.1. 

Any ideas appreciated.
