R6900p slow wifi speed
S/N: 5JB1857EA0EFE
Firmware: V 1.3.2.134_10.1.66
Spectrum 400 speed for download when direct connect to the KnightHawk.
Using wifi only 48 speed download.
From reading the forums, it seems to be a firmware issue.
Already did the factory reset and reload the firmware.
Helpful ideas anyone?

Re: R6900p slow wifi speed
What device are you speed testing on?
Are you testing over 2.4ghz or 5ghz? (2.4ghz is much much slower)
What modem is it connected to?
Did this just start?

48 Mbps is the fastest speed that you can expect to get for some wifi clients.
The router can supply a gazillion Bps, but if your wifi device crawls along at 48 Mbps, that's it.
If you take this wifi thing to a different wifi source is it a lot faster?
It might be worth a bit of background reading.
