R7000 - Amber LED but no connection

Hi

I have an r7000 router (latest firmware) which has just started showing an amber light on an Ethernet port with nothing connected to it.

If I plug in a gigabit connection it goes white and then once removed goes Amber again.

I have tried turning the router on and off twice to no avail. Any ideas ?

Does the port actually work, when you plug something into it and record the correct connection speed? If it does your lucky, because that port is about to crap out. If you can, just return the router for a new one.
