R7000 (Beta) Cant get over 100mbps of WAN speed
So first of, This is regarding Beta hardware for the R7000 "white monster" which i started beta-testing in 2018.
And i cant seem to find that original beta-forum even.
Thats why i´m posting here.
But was it said that beta only had 100mbps on WAN port or something ?
Today is the first day i test with 250mbps WAN internet, and i cant get more then 100mbps from the router. (full speed using computer directly to wan)
So i´ve tested:
Factory resetting
Firmware upgrade to V1.0.11.123_10.2.100
Turning of QoS
Turning of Access Control
Turning of Parental Controls
still 100mbps flat on speedtest, and even using speedtest inside the router says the same.
I think i will just buy a Ubiquiti now, but this speed issue seems strange to me.

Re: R7000 (Beta) Cant get over 100mbps of WAN speed
I know it sounds stupid but have you tried changing the cables to the router?
maybe you've got a sketchy ethernet cable. Make sure its cat 5e or better (and good quality)
Also check the device sending the signal. If its only a 10/100mbps, that's all you'll get for link

Re: R7000 (Beta) Cant get over 100mbps of WAN speed
Its the same cable i´m using for both Router and directly to internet RJ45 port.
as they are in the same place i just remove the router and test, and thats when i get full speed.
and if it was the cable i think the speed would vary more, now its like dead-stuck on 98mbps. like its either software blocked, or hardwared cap.
And then again, this is Beta-hardware, so it might just be this way.
