Re: R7000 Cannot connect some devices to Wireless. ("Obtaining IP address..")
" I noticed that it was acquiring two wired connections positions in the Genie when it was plugged into only one slot?"?
Before that he said "I noticed that I have two wired connections to the router" so 2 wired connection would be normal?
Sorry I wrote that wrong, so I have two slots taken up on the physical router, my computer and the alarm. Checking my attached device in the Genie, I see in the "Wired Devices" I have 3 devices connected, my computer and two created by the alarm.
I removed the alarm ethernet, and I only have one, my computer.

@DoctorX wrote:I had same error after updating to the latest firmware even after multiple factory resets and reboots. I did a cold restart by unplugging the power cable and then everything was working OK.
This was happening before and after the update, I tried all ways of restarting and none worked other than removing the alarm.
