R7000 -- Cannot turn off wireless isolation

Hello all, I have a R7000 router and I need to disable wireless isolation. I believe this is the cause of the issue, because my desktop and my laptop cannot ping each other. I went to the netgear setup, then advanced wireless settings, but there is no option to disable isolation. I also checked in basic wireless settings, and other tabs, but no luck. I have firware V1.0.3.68_1.1.31. Thanks in advance.

Re: R7000 -- Cannot turn off wireless isolation

Are they by an chance connected to the Guest network and not the main one? Because only the Guest one has isolation

"cannot" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions with their actual results (error messages, LED
indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague descriptions or
interpretations.

What are their IP addresses?  Actual "ping" command"?  Actual "ping"
output?  Or, what, exactly, are you doing, and what, exactly, happens
when you do it?

That's years, and dozens of releases, behind what's current.  You
might try something newer.  1.0.9.64 and 1.0.9.60 have been getting
some complaints around here, so you might want to start with, say,
1.0.9.42.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Downloads.  (For older versions, under Firmware and Software
Downloads, look for "View Previous Versions".)  Find the kit(s).
Download the kit(s) you want.  Read the "Release Notes" file for
instructions.

You might also try a settings reset, and manual reconfiguration:

Only the Guest networks _should_ have (optional) isolation.  And
firmware should be bug-free, too.
