R7000 Completed latest firmware update and it crashed my router
I just did the latest firmware update and after it was done, I was not connected to wifi. I tried everything, but ultimately I can no longer find my wifi under my iPhone settings. We had to buy a completely new router.

What do its LED indicators indicate?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for the LED
descriptions and "Troubleshoot".

That non-description conveys no useful information, and, hence, is
not a useful problem description. It does not say what you did. It
does not say what happened when you did it. As usual, showing actual
actions with their actual results (error messages, LED indicators, ...)
can be more helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.

The fact that you did something is far from being proof that you "had
to" do it.
"My neighbors are too loud, so I had to fly to Italy."
If there was a failure when you updated the firmware, then you may
see a flashing Power indicator. In such a case, all router functions
may fail, and you might be a candidate for the TFTP recovery scheme.
