R7000 Crashes during FTP Transfert
Hi, I'm the owner of a Netgear R7000 and the following problem:
I have connected an external HDD throught the usb 3.0 port.
During either the upload and download of files, the router reaches speed around 30-40Mbyte/sec, but during the transfert, it crashes, all computers connected to the router cease detecting it, and i'm not able to login anymore.
The only solution i have found yet is to reboot the router.
Does anyone have my same problem? Can someone suggest a solution?
Thanks for reading.

Re: R7000 Crashes during FTP Transfert
Bump.
Router bugged out every once and a while and I mostly ignored it. Realized today it only happens when I start moving large files from the USB 3.0 attached external HDD. This happens over DLNA/UPnP for HD movie files and as a mapped drive for large image files.
The router does not load its pages in its web client and each connected device looses its internet access for me. Very annoying.

Same here. I tried a USB 3.0 laptop drive, USB 2.0 laptop drive and they both caused the router to lock up during DLNA functions. Was watching a few videos when the router lost all bodily functions. Corrupted two 1TB drives. Trying to recover them right now.
