R7000 Keeps Dropping When Something Connects To Router

Hello,

I have a Nighthawk (R7000) AC1900 with the firmware V1.0.9.88_10.2.88. I have been experiencing internet drops after a few months of purchase when something tries to connect on the Wi-Fi. For example, every day when I turn on my computer (wired), I would not have internet for a few minutes. Once I'm connected and try connecting through my phone, the internet would sometimes drop entirely for both my computer and phone. Is there anywhere to fix this? Thanks!

the R7000 isn't known for the greatest firmware. What I'd recommend is starting with the latest. 1.0.11.110

Install it over a hardwired connection, factory reset the router, and then install it again. don't install from a backup. 

If that doesn't help, then I'd try version 1.0.9.42 of the firmware.

Thanks for the advice! I updated the firmware to 1.0.11.110 and I believe this resolved the issue. My internet hasn't been dropping recently sinced I updated.
