My R7000 doesn't have the Web based GUI it only has this Tomato GUI... Why and what it it? And how can I put the web GUI on it?
The default name and passwords don't apply that are on the bottom of the unit.

Only way to have the Tomato GUI is to have Tomato installed on the router.
Sounds like you bought this from someone who installed Tomato??
All the default stuff would be invalid with Tomato installed. Tomato runs well on the r7000 by the way.

Is your R7000 used? The previous owner installed Tomato. Do a search on these forums on how to install the Netgear firmware if that's what you want. You should also do a search on all the problems the Netgear firmware causes. IMO you should keep Tomato installed.

Thanks for the insight on Tomato. I found what I'm looking for after I submitted my post. I will leave the tomato on it.
