How do I keep them from flopping over? Connection to router is tight on all three but they don't hold a position I put them in such as the recommended 45 degrees for the outer two?

I solved it. I had the antennas at a 45 degree angle rather than straight out when I was twisting them on, so they were not on all the way. When they were straight out I could twist them in further so that when I stood them up they held the position I put them in.
