R7000 V1.0.9.64_10.2.64 host list accuracy is not accurate!

So the quote announcing the latest V1.0.9.64_10.2.64 firmware for my R7000:

"We’ve recently improved the device list accuracy on the R7000 with the latest fw"

Really?  Not in my experience, it seems to populate (but not accuratly) and then never seems to refresh to current.  Reboot of the router doesn't fix it either.  e.g. person with phone on wifi leaves the house, phone still shows as connected.  Never changes.

Oh and the updated web interface; can we have our "sorted by IP" back as default please?

Did you reset the router to factory settings after the firmware flash?

New firmware sometimes introduces changes that are not compatible with the old configuration.

So while it isn't guaranteed to fix problems a factory reset is the first thing to try if you have issues with new firmware.

This is a nuisance because you then have to reconfigure the device all over again.

You can backup your settings before you reset and restore them later. But that may just bring back the fault. Then again, at least you will know if the reset fixed the problem.

Just another user.

Yes; did all that.  Didn't even reload a stored config, just set all my standard settings by hand and still the same.

Downgraded to V1.0.9.42_10.2.44 (with no defaukt reset) and all is good again, list is correct, current and sorted by IP address.
