R7000, WPS, Firmware 1.0.9.64

The check box on the Advanced Wi-Fi settings to "enable WPS...." won't stay unchecked. I don't want WPS enabled. So, I uncheck the box then click the Apply button. After the router goes through the "updating settings..." routine, the page returns and the box is still checked, leaving WPS enabled.

This is a know bug of the firmware. No solution yet, at least not one that I know

Routing: NETGEAR RAX43 - Firmware: V1.0.11.112 (1 Gbps down, 50 Mbps up)
Switching: 2x NETGEAR 8-ports (GS108v4) / 1x NETGEAR 16-ports (JGS516v2)
Desktop: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - Server: Intel Core i7-7700K - NAS: Intel Pentium G4400, 16 TB

Does that mean that the Netgear team knows about this and is on the case? Or do we need to alert them?

Yep. I have the same bug.

But other than that, the firmware seems to be working ok. Five days since I updated and still no problems so far.

I do not know for sure. It's a bug discovered by the users afaik

OK. Maybe @DarrenM needs alerting.

(Apologies for picking on him yet again, but I don't remember the tags of the other Netgear moderators.)

Yes, I too have discovered this same issue.  Netgear needs to get on the ball and fix this.

The FW for R7000 and R7000P (Costco Model) are different.  Not sure which you have...

This thread is for the R7000.  @chert  I too have seen this bug, but am not sure which FW I saw it in.  I think its working in  1.0.9.34 and 1.0.9.42...  I can't check because its on a boat and I'm at home this week.  Won't be able to confirm until 7/8 or 7/9.  But let's see what 1.0.9.88 has in store for us.

~EX3700 FW:1.0.0.84

They are different, different processors, but there is nothing "Costco" about the R7000P. It is a standard Netgear box.

One difference is that the R7000P was Netgear's first router to support Armor.

I have the R7000, not the R7000P.
