Hello. (Sorry, my english is bad) I am having issues with wifi. I have OSMC running on RaspberryPi 1 Model B hardware with usb wifi dongle (from official shop). OSMC can see SSID only when "Enable Smart Connect" is checked. If different SSIDs for bands is set (i.e. MyWifi24GHz and MyWifi5GHz) - they are not discovered by osmc. Ok, check back "Enable Smart Connect" - yes! SSID is on screen. Connect, enter passphrase and ... Connection failed!!! Passphrase contains no spaces. I have enabled Guest Network with no security. Failed!
osmc wpa_supplicant[293]: wlan0: Trying to associate with SSID 'NETGEAR-Guest'
osmc wpa_supplicant[293]: wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-ASSOC-REJECT status_code=16
osmc wpa_supplicant[293]: wlan0: CTRL-EVENT-SSID-TEMP-DISABLED id=3 ssid="NETGEAR-Guest" auth_failures=1 duration=10 reason=CONN_FAILED
A lot of dances with drums around R7000 and RPi - several reboots, deleted connman config from osmc and connection established!!! But not for long 😞 5-30 minutes and connection is lost.
Here are no problems with neighbors wifi or mine old DIR-615.
Also two notebooks (Win10) and 3 smartfones (2 Android, 1 Win10) have issues. If neighbor networks are "not forgoten", after some time devices connects to them. If I leave only R7000 wifi network, then time to time wireless is lost for 2-30 sec. (And Im disconnected from online game 😞 )
Current Firmware Version V1.0.6.28_1.1.83
Any suggestions? Thank You

Re: R7000 Wifi - OSMC on RPi 1 Model B Troubles
I was happy too early 😞
After osmc reboot - no connection, even SSID was not discovered. I found that I need reboot router first, and then reboot osmc. Wifi connection is established until next reboot. Going to buy new RPi 3 with integrated wifi. Hope new thing helps me.
