Re: R7000 firmware 1.0.9.88 to _10.2.88
To the subject 1.0.9.88_10.2.88 FW... I usually wait and watch for comments on FW before updating my equipment.
Considering the number of R7000s sold over the many years it has been on sale (since 2013?, mine is 2014), if 1.0.9.88_10.2.88 was bad I would assume a lot more comments than there are.

"watch" _where_?

"than there are" _where_? Not all the complaints about
V1.0.9.88_10.2.88 will be found in this old thread. You might want to
broaden your search.

Re: R7000 firmware 1.0.9.88 to _10.2.88
Well, so far it is worse than the ancient fw I had. Today my kids could not even have a zoom meeting for school. They both were getting disconnects a ton. Have no time to mess with it, I switched to my backup AC1900 of a different brand, so far it seems ok but will see how the zooms go. The odd thing is that the ps4 was working rather well on the R7000 10.2.88. Which was wired, so I think it was mainly a wifi issue obviously 😕

Re: R7000 firmware 1.0.9.88_10.2.88
Hello,
Still on 1.0.9.42 since ages. I know security issues etc, but the only one that gives stable and good performance. A few attempt of upgrade let to downgrade again to 1.0.9.42.
Bas.
