R7000 keeps dropping wifi connection

Sporadically, my wifi SSID will stop being broadcast, and all of my devices need to reconnect.  There does not seem to be a pattern.  Sometimes it stops on its own, other times I need to reboot the router.  This is an R7500v2 with firmware v1.0.3.26  I've seen this problem on other threads.  Has this been fixed, or do I need to drop Netgear and get a different router?

Welcome to NETGEAR Community! 

 

What is the status of 2.4GHz and 5GHz LED if WiFi is not working? 

Does issue happen on both bands?

Have you tried resetting the router? 

Have you tried changing the channel on the router? 

 

You may want to try to play around with the channels to see which channel is best to use.
