R7000 not resetting. WiFi was turned off!

Ok. I think i’ve Messed up.

I have recently changed isp and have been forced to use their router. However I still wanted to use the circle parentlay controls on the r7000. I therefore set the r7000 into ap mode and turned off the WiFi. (Using software).
However the circle bit doesn’t work as AP mode so I chang d it to bridge to check that.
However it never performed that change and since then it’s been in dead mode. Just the power light on.
Hard reset and factory reset do not re activate the WiFi. Therefore i’m Finding it impossible to talk to. Wired (not responding to IP address) or wireless. Not working...

Any ideas???? Or have I just well and truly broken it.

What those terms mean to you is not entireley clear.  Have you tried
a reset with nothing (except its power supply) connected to the R7000?

Sounds like a candidate for the TFTP recovery scheme.

Re: R7000 not resetting. WiFi was turned off!

To me a Hard reset is turn it off and on.
Factory reset is press the reset button in the back for 7 secs with a paper clip. ( blinking lights etc)
Did this with nothing Connected...fotcarous ammounts of time and with/without things connected.

I’m just surprised the factory button reset does not fe activate the WiFi. (That I turned off admittedly)

Would the TFTP work? As I can't ping the router?

You have pressed the wifi on/off switch on the top of the R7000?

Unfortunately yes. Nothing...
I would have thought pressing this for 10 seconds etc. would have overriden the software turn off, but no.
