Not sure if this issue coincided with the last firmware, but recently my android phone and tablet are not having internet access. I tried my LG G6 and it connects fine to 2.4G and 5G. My windows laptop connects fine to the 2.4G. The tablet connects to the 2.4G
The laptop has internet BUT... the androids are reporting even though they are connected to the router there is no internet
In did a factory reset, and did the setup from scratch as opposed to loading a backup
The issue did not go away 😞
Hoping this is a known issue, I combed the forum but could not find anything similar to my issue.

Netgear seem to have resolved the problem, just installed this and fingers crossed, all is good. Don't want to jinx it though

Re: R7000 wifi stops connecting to android devices
Update:
My android box is connected but no internet. It is connected via ethernet
My Samsung TV is also connected via ethernet but it has internet.
So I am wondering if this is an android issue for both wired and wifi connections

Re: R7000 wifi stops connecting to android devices
Hi Gents
I do not have Google Home or Chromecast
To recap:
Connection, but NO internet: android phone wifi, android tablet wifi, and android TV box wired
Connection WITH internet: Windows laptop wifi, TV's hard wired
So my issue is strangely only android, wired and wireless

I checked out the other thread that was mentioned, but my issue appies to both 2.4G & 5G. I tried my LG G6 on both bands and no worky on either one.

Android is hit too.
Google Cast Wi-Fi disruption fix arrives tomorrow for Android - SlashGear
That bug originates from the Cast software for Android phones, Google explains, which could “incorrectly send a large amount of network traffic” that negatively impacts wireless networks.
All this is discussed in the thread I linked to.
It may not be your issue, but I would not dismiss the idea out of hand.

Re: R7000 wifi stops connecting to android devices
Hello all,
Has this issue been resolved?
All my android devices starting mucking around this morning (04/02/18), same as previously mentioned, "Connected, no internet". All other devices (PC's, iphones, ipads) working as normal.
As a result, I logged into the admin of the router to see what was happening and it upgraded to V1.0.9.18_1.2.27.
Any help would be great as driving me mad 😞
