R7000P losing 5GHz password, reboot fixes for a short time

Help! I see others have had this problem on different models. I’ve started a new string to be specific to my model.

We lose WiFi after a couple of hours of use. Fix requires turning Nighthawk off/on and hitting reset button on the Verizon box (holding it down for 20 seconds). I’m not even sure this is the best way to reboot but it works. After a couple of hours - we lose WiFi again and my phone tells me it’s the wrong password. I have not changed the password. I did do a firmware upgrade but that was after the problem started.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Does this ever happen on the 2.4 ghz? Have you tried to adjust the 5ghz channel?
