R7500 vs. R9000

I currently own/use a Nighthawk X4 (R7500) router and find I may have exceeded its capabilitiies. I run a 1GBPS internet service and have 35 devices connected. I am thinking to upgrade to the new R9000. By doing so, would I gain much in terms of performance and stability for the number of devices I run? Is it worth the $450 price tage or should I just hang on for a while? Thanks

Latest update: a week ago I went ahead and bought the Nighthawk X10 (R9000). The difference to the X4 (R7500) is night and day. My old wifi speed was max 150 mbps from a 1gbps cable internet. Now I routinely get more than 400 mbps. Furthermore the X10 is much more stable and can handle my 35+ devices no problem. I haven’t even looked into the various storage, Plex media server or back-up options the X10 offers which the X4 doesn’t. Definitely worth the price for me.

Hardware version (Plain/[v1], "v2")? Firmware version?

Which of "its capabilitiies"? Actual symptoms/evidence?

Re: R7500 vs. R9000
Symptoms are frequent slow-down or stopping of the stream, delays in getting signal through. After I shut down the R7500 for 30+minutes, it performs well for about a week. But I have to do this constantly. We are heavy users with a lot of live streaming so even though I have a good and stable internet service, I have my doubts that the R7500 is giving me the best performance.
