R7500v2 intermittent disconnection of individual devices
I have an R7500v2 that is connected to Xfinity internet behind a CM1000 modem with my switch then distributing the wired connections throughout my home.
Every couple of hours or so, one of my devices will lose connection to the internet, but maintain connection to the network. I can usually access routerlogin.com when these outages occur and connect to the router, but nothing external from my own network. There is no common trend, as this will happen to both wired and wireless devices seemingly at random.
When this happens, every other device currently connected continues as normal and suffer no outages simultaneously. To futher confuse me, this can often happen between different applications on the same computer. For example: one computer will have Discord suddenly disconnect while every other service is fine. But, my wife's machine wired right next to mine has no outages at all including her Discord application. Or one of our browsers will stop functioning for a bit, or only stop functioning on certain sites while others continue to work.
I've tried resetting everything more often than I care to admit. I've talked to Xfinity support, but beyond making sure my modem was valid for their network, they didn't do anything else. I've poured through all of the options that I can think of in the router settings, but since there seems to be no common trend to the outages, I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for.
I'm not that familiar with networking in general, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

could be a DNS issue have you tried to change your DNS to googles Open DNS?
