R7800 problem checking internet connection
So I recently got the Nighthawk X4S AC2600. I am using AT&T Fiber 1000 mbps internet. When I connect the ethernet from the modem to the router, the LED on the ethernet one port glows amber with it blinking. And on the internet LED, it is a solid amber. Also when I do start the genie, it gets to the part where it checks the internet connection and says there is a problem. I have unplugged and replugged the modem after two minutes and double checked to see if the ethernet is in the right place. When I go to the page and it asks me to enter in my MAC address, I click the next button and it does nothing for a minute before the page turns white. I am not sure what the exact problem is, and so far not much has worked. If anyone has any solutions, I would be glad to hear them.
