R8000 2.4GHz Band Stop working

Model: R8000 Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Smart WIFI Router

Firmware:: V1.0.4.46_10.1.63

OS: Win 10

Problem:   2.4GHZ wireless does not work on the router.   The routers shows the wirless band is good but nothing is connectiong to it.   THe SSID is not broadcasting.    Both 5GHZ bands are working.   I Have rebooted the router, taken it back to factory setting and neither has helped.   Any suggestions anyone before I go out and buy a new router.

The settings for the 2.4GHZ are as follows:

Channel Auto

Mode Upto 600 Mbps (ISP is 400Mbps)

Security is WPA2-PSK (AES)

Key is only 9 characters long

Smart Connect is NOT enabled

Dynamic Qos is NOT enabled

Enable Wireless Router radio is checked

Enable 20/40Mhz Coexisttence is checked

Fragmentation Lenth is 2346

CTS Threshod is 2347 with a lon Preamble mode

Re: R8000 2.4GHz Band Stop working

Best bet is to back level the firmware, not sure what the latest known good is and do a reset/reconfigure.

Better yet buy a router from someone other then Netgear. Their firmware is crap and has been for months now with no end in sight.
