R8000 AC3200 Readyshare Permissions
I have a USB 3.0 stick plugged in to the USB 3.0 jack and readyshare set up with permissions on "ALL" on read/write access on my local network only.
I can paste to the drive no problem.
I can read from the drive no problem.
I cannot delete anything off of the drive.
It tells me I need Administrative permissions. I should also add that I have a printer plugged in to the printer port also and have the Netgear USB Control Center software installed on my PC (to access the printer). I also have the USB 3.0 stick mapped to my computer.
When I right click that mapped drive and go under Security, there are 3 users on the drive: nobody (Unix User\nobody), root (Unix User\root), and Everyone. Owner is set to nobody. All 3 have "Full Control" on access. I cannot change the owner. I am on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.
If I pull out the USB from the router and stick it on my PC and it works and I can delete files. What gives?

Re: R8000 AC3200 Readyshare Permissions [Solved]
I figured it out: It's setting everything put on the USB to read only. So right click your file, click properties, and un-check "read only". Hit apply. Hit okay. Delete your file.
A bit annoying, but it's better than the alternative.
