R8000 Address Reservations not behaving as expected

So I set my R8000 up over the weekend having upgraded from an R7000.

I have a NAS, a work laptop (that I connect to over RDP) and two CCTVs that I have static IPs set using the Address Reservation function because I want them to keep the same IP.

Router IP is 192.168.1.1, gateway 191.168.1.1

DHCP range set as 192.168.1.122 to 192.1.168.254.

I have my laptop set as 192.168.1.115 (outside DHCP range) and NAS set to 192.168.1.121.

Now, I've set these up in address reservation, checked, doucble checked and triple checked the MAC addresses and they are correct, also checked the host names, and they too are correct.

But, the R8000 insists on setting the laptop as 192.168.1.156 (within DHPC range) and the NAS as 192.168.1.144 (also within DHCP range).

I've rebooted both devices, done Ipconfig /release / ipconfig /renew on the laptop numerous times but they insist on keeping their DHCP range addresses.

What am I doing wrong, or is this an issue / bug with the R8000? R8000 is up to date with latest firmware V1.0.4.62_10.1.74.

Thinking that there could possibly another device 192.168.1.115 on the network, I pinged it from the laptop - and got results back for 192.168.1.156 (destination unreachable) not .115 destination unreachable - very strange, but I think that might be a clue? Both the laptop and NAS appear as their DHCP addresses in the conencted devices screen.

Any help or suggestions gratefully received. Thank you for reading.

To what is the R8000 connected?  Where's the R7000 now?

Terminology: A "static" address is configured on the device itself.
What you configure on a (DHCP server on a) router is a reserved dynamic
address, not a static address.  Either one should fix the address of a
device, but some implications are different.

   Presumably, those were both "192.".

   Perhaps something does.

Hard to say, but, despite Netgear router firmware bugs being pretty
common, I wouldn't expect one like this, especially without seeing many
more similar reports.

As usual, showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results
(error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.  Copy+paste is your friend.

The most common source of confusing DHCP behavior is the presence of
multiple DHCP servers on the network.  To eliminate that possibility,
I'd disconnect everything (except its power adapter) from the R8000,
including wireless devices (disable the radios, or change the SSIDs),
and start building a more complex network by adding one (DHCP client)
device at a time.

If your DHCP configuration, including address reservations, really is
right, and there's only one client device in an Attached Devices report,
then I'd expect it to have its reserved address.  Then add devices until
misbehavior appears.
