R8000 Firmware 1.0.4.4 and 1.0.4.2 - Android devices disconnect & reconnect repeatedly

We have two Droid Turbo 2's running Android 7.0 with the November 2017 Security Updates and two tablets running Android 5.1.  All four devices began to connect and disconnect over-and-over again, endlessly, once the R8000's firmware was updated to 1.0.4.4.

Previously, the firmware was 1.0.3.54, and there were no problems.  In fact, in the three years we've had the R8000, there have been zero problems with any of our devices, until I updated the firmware to the 1.0.4* series.

I've had to regress the firmware back to 1.0.3.54 in order to get the Android devices to work properly.

I'm very concerned that this is exposing us to security problems, and I need some help resolving this issue.  Is there a firmware fix in the works?  Any router settings that I should change?  Any Android device settings I should change?

Thanks, in advance, for any help anyone may have.
