R8000 Firmware Update R8000-V1.0.3.36_1.1.25 breaks genie app, local and remote management

Upgrade to V1.0.3.36_1.1.25 has left me not being able to remotely or locally manage router using the genie app. I have also noticed the router being very sluggish with connectivity since the upgrade last night. Resetting does not resolve the issues.

Do I need the previous fw to roll that back? If so where can I get it? Thanks!

if you revert it back to the old firmware v1.0.3.4 will it work properly?

I rolled it back to V1.0.3.32_1.1.21 bits and everything back to normal, this current relase should be pulled to fix the issues then released again.

@MrZen Which Genie app are you using (iOS or Android) and also what version?

I was able to access mine using the latest firmware (1.0.3.36) on the router.

Did you try using the latest firmware once again?

I suggest that you factory reset the router after loading the latest fw.

where did you find this firmware? id like to roll mine back

http://downloadcenter.netgear.com just search R8000 and select the correct bits.
