R8000 -Firmware V1.0.4.68_10.1.75 internet stability issue

Hello Team,

Currently I am running Firmware V1.0.4.68_10.1.75 and having so many issues. All the lights remain stable, still connection drops.

Internet connectivity not stable, office calls are dropping, people not able to hear me.

So many people are complaining about this version but Not sure why @netgear is not listening or watching these threads.

Most of us are working remote and depend on it @netgear please help.

I have had the exact same problem with the latest Fimware (V1.0.4.68_10.1.75) and have reverted back to the last 5 Firmware updates with the same problem.

I have finally found that R8000-V1.0.4.28_10.1.54 is the Firmware that works for me and is completely stable.

It has been frustrating reloading the older Firmwares on each occassion and not sure if the problem is on NetGear's side or my older 2012 computer - Lenovo T410.

You could do what I did and download the past Firmwares from the NetGear download site for the NightHawk R8000 X6 AC3200 and get to a stable verion that suites your computer as I did but I have found V1.0.4.28_10.1.54 to work for me.
