R8000 after period of time hangs wireless connection on the 2g but 5g ok
All devices hook up ok for a while on the 2g band. First device that ultimately hangs is an Iphone. Shows connected but any attempt to access internet just hangs. Eventually other devices (mac, smart tv, etc) have same issue. Connecting devices to 5g works ok. Once that connection to the 2g fails, it is unusable (e.g. a permanent hang -- doesn't come back and become useable).
Tried disconnecting and reconnecting the device. Have tried rebooting device (iphone). It seems like the only thing that really works is rebooting the router. Then it works for a while and eventually same issue happens again.
Any idea what is going on?

Do this for both the 5ghz and 2.4 ghz channels.
