R8000 cant connect to work VPN
I haven't changed any settings on my router but all of a sudden I can no longer connect to my works VPN. They insist its a router issue but I'm at a loss! Hope someone can assist me to figure out what has gone wrong. TIA

1. what firmware is on the router?
2. what modem/gateway is the router connected to?
3. what vpn are you using?
4. who's telling you its the router and why are they saying its the router causing it?

It's a work vpn so I don't know the specifics, but I'll ask.
My It guys at work say it's got to be the router since I can connect to the VPN when I'm on the server at work, I can also connect to it using a hotspot, and peoples confirmed they do not block VPN's. I have Peoples service

the security layer encountered a processing error”
I have been able to connect to work via the same service and router and VPN for over a year, until now.- The firmware is 1.0.4.76
