Hi,
I need help from the comunity.
I would like to setup conditioned password access to the router conected hard drive from home devices (all Mac's)
The problem is that when I choose this option on the router web interface I cannot connect the disc to any Mac. Ironic is that when I'm using connect as Guest it is working wonderful on all Macs, without any password.... Any idea?
Thank you!

Solved the problem:
In case of SMB access the password have to be short, I don't know whats the maximum number of characters allowed, but with 7 works fine.
AFP seems that has no such problems my previous 15 characters password worked fine.
It took quite a long time to find out why I cannot access the Readyshare wit SMB....

Re: R8000 readyshare HDD - set up password access from Mac
Helo James,
thank you for reply, but is not working.
Connecting as Guest works fine, but when choosing password I got the message that I'm not authorised.
I tried to use admin / password (the updated pass) eventualy my Mac admin credentials - without success...
