R8000P Can't get ip address after power outage
Had a brief power Flux yesterday and now all I'm getting is couldn't find ip address on all my connected devices. Have tried reset on router, modem and tried new cables. Modem definitely has internet as hardwired devices are working. At a loss as to what to do next

Re: R8000P Can't get ip address after power outage
I have had the same problem with R9000. Usually a couple of hard reboots (unplug router waiting 20 seconds and plug back in) works for me. Still trying to figure out what is wrong, but this has worked for me in the past. Good luck

Re: R8000P Can't get ip address after power outage
what modem/gateway do you have?
Try this.
Power off the modem and the router. Disconnect everything from both (even coax from modem). Give it a couple minutes.
Then connect coax back to modem. power it on. wait several minutes for it to fully boot.
connect lan cable from modem to wan port on router.
power the router on. Wait several minutes.
Then try setup on the router.
