R9000 1.0.5.28 verdict
Still on 1.0.5.8 and it has been reliable and solid. What is the verdict on the new 1.0.5.28 or 1.0.5.26? Did a search and no threads, which is unusual, unless people have abandoned the R9000?

Re: R9000 1.0.5.28 verdict
I wouldn't say its been abandoned. I wouldn't say its being pushed either.
If you're not seeing many posts, that tends to be a good sign.
I'd make a backup of your current configuration and try the new firmware.
If you have issues, you can always downgrade the firmware, reset the router, and reinstall the backup configuration.

Re: R9000 1.0.5.28 verdict
I recently bought my R9000. Picked it up for $170 😎 Previous owner never updated as well. I didn’t try out the latest update but instead took the ddwrt route. I’ve been trying to find some feedback related to the firmware. My first time flashing a router 😊

I've been using the latest version for a day, no issues what so ever, so far.
